السلطات السودانية تفرج عن الترابي
أطلقت السلطات السودانية سراح زعيم حزب المؤتمر الشعبي المعارض حسن الترابي بعد شهر ونصف من اعتقاله منتصف مايو/ أيار الماضي.
وأكد الترابي في مقابلة مع بي بي سي الافراج عنه في وقت متأخر من يوم الأربعاء.
وأضاف أنه عومل بشكل جيد، لكنه قال إنه عزل اثناء سجنه ومنع من الاتصال بأي معتقل آخر.
وأشار الترابي إلى أن السلطات لم توجه إليه أي تهمة ولم تحقق معه بخصوص أي قضية.
وكانت السلطات الأمنية السودانية اعتقلت الترابي بسبب تقارير إخبارية نشرتها صحيفة (رأي الشعب) الناطقة باسم حزبه.
وتناولت تلك التقارير ما قالت إنه "تدهور" في العلاقات بين السودان ومصر وأنباء عن "تعاون" بين الحرس الثوري الإيراني والسلطات السودانية في منشآت صناعية.
وكان عدد من صحفيي (رأي الشعب) قد اعتقلوا في نفس الفترة واتهموا بنشر أخبار كاذبة.
يذكر أن حسن الترابي كان حليفا للرئيس السوداني عمر البشير وتقلد منصب رئيس البرلمان السوداني خلال حكمه، قبل أن يتصاعد الخلاف بين الرجلين أواخر عام 1999 مما أدى لخروجه من السلطة وتأسيس حزب المؤتمر الشعبي المعارض.
ويتزامن إطلاق سراح الترابي مع الذكرى 21 لوصول الرئيس السوداني عمر البشير إلى السلطة في 30 يونيو/ حزيران 1989.
وردا على سؤال لبي بي سي توقع الترابي أن يؤدي الاستفتاء على مصير جنوب السودان إلى تصويت الجنوبيين بالانفصال نظرا للقطيعة بين شطري البلاد حسب وصفه.
وكان اتفاق السلام الشامل الموقع بين الحكومة السودانية والحركة الشعبية لتحرير السودان الحاكمة في الجنوب منح الجنوبيين حق تقرير مصيرهم في استفتاء سيجرى في يناير/ كانون الثاني 2011.
