Taha: Sudan to Establish Strong Ties with Southern State

Khartoum – Sudan's Vice President, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha affirmed Sudan is determined to build positive relations
with the government of South Sudan after July 9 and resolving problems facing south-north Sudan relations to finalize the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) to promote the spirit of African unity.

Taha stated that Sudan plans to set up a comprehensive national strategy in the next stage.

While meeting yesterday the leaders of Organization of African Trade Union Unity (OATUU) in Khartoum, the Vice President said Sudan has remained active in all African work mechanisms and organizations to ensure credibility of African decision, affirming Sudan will support its African brothers and sisters in hope of achieving freedom, democracy and national sovereignty to face current oppression, designs and plots by hegemonic powers.

Citing the Egyptian revolution as well as ongoing Arab uprisings, he said the revolutions across the Arab world were an indication of a favorable climate for shaping a better future in those countries.

He urged African forces and political forces to foil Western schemes by raising the slogan “Africa’s resources are for Africans.”

Taha hailed the meetings of OATUU that aborted the schemes of the International Criminal Court (ICC) thanks to solidarity of African organizations for dignity. He said Sudan was actively involved in forging trade blocs to allow for a joint African market to organize trade among African states.

He said Sudan backs all efforts to supporting infrastructure across the continent so that African citizens are free to make their own decisions in favor of political and economic unity.

“It is time we respect honest and serious work that appreciates human value,” Taha said, adding that nations never build their countries by idleness and laziness or dependence on donations, handouts or loans.

He said Sudan managed to maintain development rates that placed it on top in terms of telecommunication, oil and education. Despite economic sanctions, Sudan has been able to establish 30 universities for 500,000 students compared with three universities with 8,000 students in the past.

The vice president called on African forces to fight ignorance and poverty and build strong political forces to destroy all schemes against Africa. “The powers of evil and hegemony are prevalent now, whoever, the might of economy, telecommunication, and modern technology has become the weapon of today,” Taha said.

Khartoum - Sudan vicepresidente, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha ha affermato il Sudan è deciso a costruire relazioni positive


con il governo del Sud Sudan dopo il 9 luglio e risolvere i problemi con esposizione sud-nord relazioni Sudan per finalizzare l'accordo di pace globale (CPA) per promuovere lo spirito di unità africana.


Taha ha affermato che il Sudan prevede di istituire una strategia nazionale globale nella fase successiva.


Mentre l'incontro di ieri i leader della Organizzazione di African Trade Union Unity (OATUU) a Khartoum, il Vice Presidente ha detto il Sudan è rimasto attivo in tutti i meccanismi di lavoro e le organizzazioni africane per assicurare la credibilità della decisione africani, affermando Sudan sosterrà i suoi fratelli e sorelle africani in speranza di raggiungere la libertà, la democrazia e la sovranità nazionale per affrontare l'oppressione attuale, disegni e trame da parte di potenze egemoniche.


Citando le rivoluzioni in Egitto così come in corso sommosse arabe, ha detto le rivoluzioni in tutto il mondo arabo erano indice di un clima favorevole per plasmare un futuro migliore in quei paesi.


Egli ha esortato le forze africane e le forze politiche di sventare i regimi occidentali, aumentando lo slogan "le risorse dell'Africa sono per gli africani".


Taha ha salutato le riunioni del OATUU abortito che gli schemi della Corte penale internazionale (CPI) grazie alla solidarietà delle organizzazioni africane per la dignità. Ha detto che il Sudan è stato attivamente coinvolto nel creare blocchi commerciali per permettere un mercato comune africano per organizzare gli scambi tra gli Stati africani.


Ha detto che il Sudan appoggia tutti gli sforzi per l'infrastruttura di supporto in tutto il continente africano, affinché i cittadini sono liberi di prendere le proprie decisioni in favore di unità politica ed economica.


"E 'ora di rispettare il lavoro onesto e serio, che apprezza il valore umano", Taha ha detto, aggiungendo che le nazioni non costruire i loro paesi, l'ozio e la pigrizia o la dipendenza da donazioni, dispense o prestiti.


Ha detto che il Sudan è riuscito a mantenere tassi di sviluppo che ha collocato al top in termini di telecomunicazioni, del petrolio e l'istruzione. Nonostante le sanzioni economiche, il Sudan è stato in grado di fissare a 30 università per 500.000 studenti rispetto ai tre università con 8.000 studenti in passato.


Il vice presidente ha invitato le forze africane a combattere l'ignoranza e la povertà e costruire la forte forze politiche a distruggere tutti i regimi contro l'Africa. "Le potenze del male e di egemonia sono prevalenti oggi, chiunque, la forza dell'economia, delle telecomunicazioni, e la tecnologia moderna è diventata l'arma di oggi", ha detto Taha.
