ونفي مساعد الرئيس السوداني ماتردد عن مبادرة أمريكية حول حل أزمة دارفور. وقال ليست هنالك مبادرة أمريكية في هذا الشأن، فلم تصلنا بشكل مباشر، مشيرا إلي أن هناك حوار إيجابي الآن مع حزب الأمة ، مضيفا : لكن هذه القضية لم تحسم بعد، ولكننا مستعدين ومرحبين بمشاركة الأمة والإتحادي في الحكومة.
