Khartoum, 28 apr. (TMNews) - Il principale gruppo del Darfur coinvolto nei negoziati di pace di Doha ha indicato di respingere "totalmente" una bozza di accordo di pace presentata dai mediatori delle Nazioni Unite.
"Abbiamo ricevuto ieri i documenti dei mediatori (...) ma siamo delusi dal momento che offrono meno dell'accordo di Abuja", ha dichiarato il portavoce del movimento per la giustizia e l'uguaglianza (Jem), Gibril Adam, alludendo a un accordo di pace firmato dal leader ribelle Minni Minnawi nel 2006.
Secondo Adam, le soluzioni proposte in questi documenti sul problema dei profughi, i risarcimenti agli abitanti del Darfur interessati da otto anni di conflitto, la divisione del potere e delle ricchezze sono insufficienti. "Per tutte queste ragioni, abbiamo completamente respinto questi documenti", ha dichiarato al telefono Adam, che si trovava a Doha.
Il Jem, il più armato dei gruppi ribelli della regione occidentale sudanese del Darfur, partecipa al fianco del movimento per la liberazione e la giustizia (Mjl), un gruppo ribelle meno importante, a negoziati di pace con il governo sudanese nella capitale del Qatar.

Khartoum, April 28 (TMNews) - The main group involved in the Darfur peace negotiations in Doha has indicated that it rejected "totally" a draft peace accord presented by the mediators of the United Nations.
"We received yesterday the documents Brokers (...) but we are disappointed because they contain less of the Abuja agreement," said the spokesman of the Movement for Justice and Equality (JEM), Gibril Adam, referring to a peace agreement signed by rebel leader Minni Minnawi in 2006.
According to Adam, the solutions proposed in these documents on the refugee issue, compensation payments to people in Darfur affected by eight years of conflict, division of power and wealth are not sufficient. "For all these reasons, we have completely rejected these documents," said Adam on the phone, who was in Doha.
