Justice Party Unveils Vision for National Dialogue
Khartoum - Justice Party (Mother Party) has announced its vision for the national dialogue, which the President had earlier called for in his speech to the nation.
The party's political secretary Bushara Juma'ah Aror said at a press conference yesterday that his party's vision for the dialogue is built on a comprehensive national dialogue, freedoms, and results of the dialogue, key national issues and foreign policies.
He stressed that dialogue is key to negotiating and solving all national and domestic issues should all parties resort to reason in order to reconcile to bring about peace and stability. Aror added that preserving the homeland requires high degree of self-denial and putting aside personal ambitions and partisan interests.
He said that Justice Party is opposed to negotiations outside the country, calling on any high committee that will be tasked with conducting nationwide dialogue to bear in mind the essentiality of hold such dialogue inside the country.
Aror said the next phase calls for transparency, seriousness and shunning exclusion of the other or seeking support from outside parties or impossible preconditions to ensure that political differences and divisions hamper any safe way out of the problem. He said sincere national reconciliation is a must for better future of generations to come as well as putting an end interethnic feuds and civil wars that have plagued Sudan over the past decade. Aror underscored the importance of preparing opportune climate for dialogue and providing press freedoms.
