Susan Rice: You need to Khartoum and Juba to stay at the negotiating table to resolve the remaining problems

Confirmed U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice said on Thursday, stuck to the United Nations and the African Union unequivocally, Ptousel neighboring Sudan and South Sudan to a comprehensive agreement quickly, even if it extended the deadline granted to them a few weeks.

Rice said in a statement to reporters at the conclusion of consultations of the UN Security Council on this file, the oil agreement reached by Khartoum and Juba, as well as their agreement to facilitate humanitarian access to the states of Southern Kordofan and Blue Nile Alsudanatin are encouraging steps.

But it confirmed at the same time it remains to be the application of these agreements fully and in good faith.

The U.S. Ambassador to the presence of many other differences still need to solve, such as the demarcation of the border between the two countries and the fate of the disputed areas such as Abyei area .. Stressing the need to stay at the negotiating table to resolve the remaining problems.
